Day Seventy Nine. March 31, 2012. Saturday.

This day just keeps on getting better. I am grateful for the great weather we are having here in Palm Springs, for dodger dogs and burgers, for great family time but most of all, for finally meeting the Gaytons!!! Looking forward to more family time with you guys! Love you lots!

Day Seventy Eight. March 30, 2012. Friday.

See you in a few days Irvine! Friday is finally here! I am so grateful for this very much anticipated weekend. Thank God It's Friday!

Day Seventy Seven. March 29, 2012. Thursday.

Besides a great time at small group tonight. I am grateful for this moment. Sitting on our down feathered chair, eating junk food while watching The Killing with my Mister. The chair is awesome, we love it! Junk food was a treat because we really don't eat them anymore. And the show well... it reminds me of our honeymoon. We watched two episodes on the plane on our way to PV and never watched the rest of it till now. I miss our honeymoon. I miss our wedding... but tonight was just as awesome because I'm with that person that makes me feel like it's our wedding day everyday. 

Day Seventy Six. March 28, 2012. Wednesday.

Today was a productive day at work. I am grateful for days like this. That's all for today... Weather was great but I was inside so didn't really get to enjoy it. But nevertheless, I am blessed! Happy Wednesday!

Day Seventy Five. March 27, 2012. Tuesday.

Bk playing Hello Kitty game with Sammy. He is so good to her. Even after a stressful day at work, he still finds time to bond with our little Sammy. I am grateful. It's amazing that when it comes to parenting, he's a natural. xx

Day Seventy Four. March 26, 2012. Monday.

My Sammy's first visit to the dentist. She was a little scared at first but the dentist was nice and friendly. Dentist said he doesn't see any cavity but recommends to do an x-ray just to be sure. I am grateful for Sammy's healthy smile. Hopeful she will have better teeth than me! ;)

Day Seventy Three. March 25, 2012. Sunday.

Sunday family day! Today, we were able to spend some much needed quality time with the siblings. Few things I am grateful for today... Church - loved the message today (as always). So very thankful for God's unconditional love. Time with the siblings and my monkey aka Dominic - we've been so busy lately that we rarely get to hang out. Instant Spa day - since we missed our time to go to the movies, we ended up going to the spa for some much needed massage. Thank you sisi for treating me and Rokko! I love you!. And again, for my Mister - while my siblings and I were getting our massage, he had a wonderful date with our Sammy. Thank you for giving me some "me time". I love you!

Day Seventy Two. March 24, 2012. Saturday.

I am so very happy today! Sammy's party was a blast! Granted, I was not able to decorate the place the way I wanted to, but I am still so happy with everything. There is a lot to be grateful for... my husband - for cleaning up, running around town to pick up and buy stuff, and for just being my rock. I know I can always count on him. My brother Rokko - for helping me out big time with setting up and cleaning up and for funding entertainment. :) I am so blessed to have you. You're always there for me,  I love you dear brother. Thank you for all that you do. For our friends and family who came - thank you for spending your day with us. We love you all! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! And lastly, for the weather - Thank you God for sunshine!!! Ahhh.... not it's time to rest. Happy weekend loves!

Day Seventy One. March 23, 2012. Friday.

WARNING: I will be ooggleing about how fantastic my husband is on this post....again... :)

I am so very grateful for my loving husband! Tonight, I baked a three layer cake, 36 cupcakes and made 40 cookie pops dipped in white chocolate for Sammy's party tomorrow. I am not used to having someone help me  out in times of stress. But the Mister is so fantastic with helping me out and making my life soooo easy. He frosted the cake and cupcakes and cleaned up my mess...I know ...I know.. I'm one lucky mama! Thank you honey! You are the bomb! I love you!

Day Seventy. March 22, 2012. Thursday.

Today I had to miss my small group to attend Kinder Round-up. Being it my first time to have a child attend Kindergarten, I do not know how the school system works here. So this meeting tonight was really helpful. Got my gazillion questions answered! I am grateful for Kinder Round-up and helpful teachers. I am so excited for Sammy... now I just hope and pray she gets the early bird schedule! *fingers crossed*

Day Sixty Nine. March 21, 2012. Wednesday.

Today is the IL's 48th Wedding Anniversary! I am grateful we have them to look up to. BK has great parents. I see a lot of them in him so I know our little family is in good hands. I cannot be more proud to be a part of this family. I love you both and thank you for setting a great example to all of us. 

Day Sixty Eight. March 20, 2012. Tuesday.

Happy Birthday to my sunshine!!! Today you are five. I am grateful for you every single day. I cannot believe how much you've grown. You are a beautiful person. You make us proud in everything you do. We love you so so much Sammy! Thank you for filling up my heart with joy! I love you!

Day Sixty Seven. March 19, 2012. Monday.

Even though I would much rather stay at home with my loves... I am grateful to have a job. Seeing how difficult it is out there now... I am very thankful. And besides, it's easy when you have a great boss! :) Happy Monday!

Day Sixty Six. March 18, 2012. Sunday.

Church was awesome today (as always). I was reminded that God is a forgiving God and Jesus died on the cross for me, for my sins, and I am forever grateful. There are some things in the past that I wish never happened, some things I am not proud of. And it's good.. no .. its great to know that I am forgiven. That no matter what I do, God still loves me. I always try to live my life the way that is pleasing to God, and this past few years have been life changing for me. It's not always easy to do the right thing. It takes a LOT of work and conscious effort every minute of every single day. But the more you do it, the easier it becomes. 

Today at church, they had us write on this tag what hinders us from having the ultimate relationship with God. Then we were to drop it off in a red bin on our way out of church. The tag is our sins, our short comings, our guilt, our greatest regret. It doesn't matter how big or small it is. Everybody has something. The bin is God's forgiveness, Jesus dying on the cross for us. Doing this exercise reminded me assured me that God has forgiven me. That I am made new and all of the sin and regret and guilt that is in that tag is lifted up to Him. His love is unconditional. You don't need a tag to be reminded of how great God is. But when in doubt, try to do this exercise. It will make you feel so much better. I am forever grateful.

Happy Birthday to my cousin Marvin! I am grateful for you! Thank you for doing our wedding video. We love you and we wish you more years of happiness and success! Oh! And congrats with the new house... xoxo!

Day Sixty Three. March 15, 2012. Thursday.

Boba with small group! Yey! So our group decided to make a boba run tonight and left the kids with the sitter. It's one of my new friends first time ever to try "Boba". And to think she's been living in Irvine for 31 years! I am grateful for new friends and new experiences. It's so refreshing to try new things with new people. We had lots of fun. I think we all decided that this will be a regular thing..... *wishing* :)

         

Day Sixty Two. March 14, 2012. Wednesday.

Before we moved, we decided not to put a TV in our bedroom. Less distraction and more time paying attention to each other. So far, it works really well. We watch TV in the living room or the office then we go to bed to sleep or read a little. But there are times when I just can't sleep and watching TV in the living room is too lonely so instead, I lay awake in bed for hours. Not anymore! Thanks to hubby for discovering NOMAD (Direct TV on Ipad). I got to watch TV in bed. Haha! I know, how lame. But I am grateful for technology. :) We are still all about paying attention to each other. This is just for sleepless nights.

Happy Birthday to the best MIL ever! Today is an extra special day. Imagine if you never existed...oh the horror of that thought! I am grateful you were born! You make everything wonderful. I love you mom. 

Day Sixty. March 12, 2012. Monday.

Happy Birthday to a very special lady. Auntie Josie, thank you for everything. I am grateful for you. You are a mom, a friend and my rock since I can remember. I love you very much and I miss you... please visit us soon!

Day Fifty Nine. March 11, 2012. Sunday.

Today, hubby is sick. Poor guy's been in bed all day. So Sammy and I went to church without him, it felt different. Even Sammy felt different. But I am glad we came. I love going to church with BK but it was also great being in there by myself. 100% of my attention was on praising and worshiping God and listening to the message. Not that he distracts me, but it's just a different feeling. It was good. I needed that spiritually. It felt like it was one on one with God and nobody else. So even though hubby is sick.... I am grateful for my time alone at church. 

Day Fifty Eight. March 10, 2012. Saturday.

Today was a treat! Part of Sammy's birthday gift from my awesome in-law's was a trip to Noah's Ark! It was FUN. I honestly enjoyed it as much as Sammy (or maybe even more). We all know how grateful I am for my IL's... So today's grateful moment is for seeing Noah's Ark at the Skirball. I just feel fortunate. I definitely recommend this place. 

Day Fifty Seven. March 9, 2012. Friday.

Dinner with my kiks! Grateful for "no drama" friendship with my girlfriend China. I love our heart to heart talks, laughs, occasional tennis games (actually more of she hits, I try to catch the ball.. LOL) but most especially, I love the sister I found in her. Thank you for being true and kind kiks! You are an awesome girlfriend! xoxo!

Day Fifty Six. March 8, 2012. Thursday.

Today our small group finished 40 days in the Word! Yey! I am grateful for this study. It definitely helped me on reading and absorbing God's word. Everything about it is great. Nothing extra special today. Just grateful to be here, Sammy's kisses, hubby's hugs and perfect weather. Thank you thank you thank you God for this day! 

Day Fifty Four. March 6, 2012. Tuesday

Today I received a call from the Department of Insurance regarding my application. As you may already know, I finally passed my state exam last month and the final step is getting this certificate. I really didn't expect to get it this early since its the DOI. (State offices usually take forever to process something.) So today, I am grateful for Maria (lady from DOI who called me and took care of my cert ASAP) for doing her job efficiently. I wish we have more people like her in government offices (e.i. DMV). Maria, you are fantastic! 

Day Fifty Three. March 5, 2012. Monday.

So...planning this party is making me too excited! The Martha Stewart in me is busting out and I'm having a hard time controlling it! Good thing hubby is so patient. Yesterday we spent an hour and a half at Michael's shopping for craft stuff for the party. Need I say more? He is simply the best! I already told you how grateful I am to be married to him, but today I am grateful for hubby's understanding. He knows what's important to me and what makes me happy. Thank you for sucking it up Hun. I love you!

Day Fifty Two. March 4, 2012. Sunday.

Today, hubby and I got to shop a little for Sammy's birthday party. This year we are doing Dr.Seuss party! Sammy loves Horton hears a Who. Target has 2 for $10 sale for Dr.Suess books going on right now. And since we need new books to read, we took advantage of the sale! Yey!!! I was just as excited as Sammy. I am grateful she loves to read. We enjoy it as much as she does. It's our quiet family time. 

Day Fifty One. March 3, 2012. Saturday.

Today is Sammy's first day in her ballet class. Thanks to our very good friend Bey. She enjoyed it so much. She's only been asking for this for ...forever.... :) There's no greater feeling than seeing her happy. I am grateful for my baby's joy! I think I'm doing an okay job being a mom. I love you Sammy!

Day Fifty. March 2, 2012. Friday.

Happy Birthday Dr. Suess! 

Pajama day at Sammy's school today! That means I didn't have to fight with my little artist with what outfit she can wear today. She's been wearing this pajama for a few days already. But for last night, she wore a different one because she planned to wear this at school today! How adorable is that? So today, I am grateful for Pajama days and Dr.Suess Birthday! So much fun!

Day Forty Nine. March 1, 2012. Thursday.

Tonight is our sixth week with our small group. Its the end of our 40 days in the Word study. I am grateful for each and everyone of our new friends. I really think this is the start of a great love filled friendship. I am so looking forward to many more fun times with you guys. xoxo!!!
