Day Forty Eight. February 29, 2012. Wednesday.

Its LEAP Day! I am grateful for this extra day! We didn't really plan anything special. Just a quiet evening at home cuddling with my loves. Right now, it is all I need.  

Day Forty Seven. February 28, 2012. Tuesday.

Today was one of those days where finding something to be grateful for was a bit challenging... until i did my devotion. I have been finding time to do my devotion in the morning but it's been one of those days. Now I know why God allowed me to do it end of my day. His timing is always perfect. He knew when I'm going to need His message the most and boy did He nail it. I am grateful for God's promises. I am so thankful to have a God that I can always count on, who knows what is best for all of us. I am grateful for His comforting words. I always feel more confident and stronger every time I read the Word. 

Day Forty Six. February 27, 2012. Monday.

Garlic Fried Rice, Danggit and Pusit and Egg with onion and tomato.

Today, I am grateful my husband let me cook this STINKY but delicious Filipino delicacy. It was the perfect rainy weather and I was craving for it. Now we just need to buy some more candles and oil to burn. Our house S M E L L S... my sweet husbands only question to me after all this was "did you at least enjoy it?" LOL.. i love him!

Day Forty Five. February 26, 2012. Sunday

So yesterday was a big day! San Diego was so much fun. Today, we decided to just stay home after church and just relax. But our almost five year old can only do so much relaxing. I am grateful for our cute little neighbors who loves playing with Sammy. Being the only girl in their age group, they take good care of my sweetheart. 

Day Forty Four. February 25, 2012. Saturday.

Today we visited my brother Rokko who lives in San Diego. It was a beautiful day, We took the Ferry to Coronado. It was Sam's first time on a boat. I had such a great time! Had some oysters and bloody mary. I am grateful I have one of my brothers here that I can always count on. I love you Rocks! 

Day Forty Three. February 24, 2012. Friday.

Today is my Papa's Birthday. He was a great man. Today, as I was finishing with this blog... It reminded me how wonderful my parents were. I am grateful for my amazing parents.  They taught me a lot of great things about life that will last me a life time. Thank you mama and papa. I love you and i miss you so much.

Meet the Iversons. There's been some talk about this prettyful family moving out of state.. (how dare they....)  But tonight, we received the good news! They are staying, and that makes me grateful! We are very happy.  Looking forward to a great friendship with you guys!God has blessed us with wonderful people to help us grow spiritually.

I PASSED! I PASSED! I PASSED! I am so grateful for passing my state test! I have been stressed for the last few months because of this and now it's finally over! I passed! Woot woot!!!! It feels good..... :)

Day Thirty Nine. February 20, 2012. Monday.

Isn't it prettyful?! This is just in a parking lot of my gym (around 6pm). It's monday and I am loving it. I am grateful for today's beautiful weather. We are so lucky to live in California. I love calm and sunny winter.

Day Thirty Eight. February 19, 2012. Sunday.

Family day at Laguna Beach. This place always make me feel better. Been a little stressed with my upcoming state exam and been downing myself because I just can't seem to remember anything I read! I am grateful for the beautiful Laguna Beach, it is my 20 mins. away from home paradise. :)

Day Thirty Seven. February 18, 2012. Saturday.

Weekend with cousins! Grateful for these kids. They sure know how to make my heart happy. Today, we took the kids to the lake and the park, they had so much fun. I had so much fun. I love them!

Day Thirty Six. February 17, 2012. Friday.

I have been looking forward to this the whole week! Sleep over with the "chikitings"!!! I miss them so much. And Sammy was just super excited to show off her room. :) I am grateful I get to spend time with them again. I love them. 

Day Thirty Five. February 16, 2012. Thursday.

Grateful for our health!!! A lot of our friends are sick... have been sick for weeks and we pray for them everyday (or pregnant!). I'm surprised Sammy hasn't gotten anything yet.. Just a tummy ache lately...(i just jinxed myself!) Praying we'll stay healthy. Drinking lots of water and Vit C, hoping it'll do the trick.

Day Thirty Four. February 15, 2012. Wednesday.

Day after Valentines day... I am grateful for an awesome evening last night that still makes me smile today. Hubby surprised Sammy at school with a box of chocolates and a cute little stuffed puppy and me!!! with beautiful flowers and delicious Godiva Truffles and a wonderful dinner at home. A sweet, thoughtful man with a pretty face... oh, how I love my life!

Today I got to spend the whole day with this little chickie! I am so grateful for days like this. She is growing up so fast and with her being in school all day I feel like I am missing a lot of Sammy time. I love day off's with her.

Long Beach

It was an awesome day. So much to be thankful for. Today, we got to spend our day walking around the wonderful streets of Long Beach for our surprise Vday celebration. LB is very special to us. I am grateful for the perfect weather, we were able to truly enjoy our day.

Yes, my Bestie is a guy. I love my girlfriends but I have to admit, I am more of "one of the boys" kind of girl. He's a great friend and an awesome brother. Thank you for being so supportive in everything I do. xoxo.. (I love that he lets me call him "bestie") :)

So much to be thankful for today. Like super sweet and thoughtful Grandparents and boss. Also a handsome fella who gives me much needed sweet morning hugs and kisses. But what I am most grateful for is....wait for it.... todays peaceful morning! TADA!!! You have no idea how chaotic some of our mornings are because of this almost 5 years old girl who calls herself an artist. Fighting over what she wants to wear at school like skirts and hello kitty tees during winter. Luckily, we live in California, so some days she get to wear her preferred outfits.... like this one!

Day Twenty Seven. February 8, 2012. Wednesday.

Tiny Crab Paste on Garlic Fried Rice and Fried Chicken Adobo. Don't worry, I used olive oil and not too much of it. :D 

I am grateful that Mr.Tucker aka my honey is not afraid to try new things. Especially food. Because Filipino food is definitely DIFFERENT from American food. I still get to cook a lot of my food and luckily, he loves them! (or maybe he pretends to like it, either way, I am lucky..I cannot eat chicken or turkey everyday.)

Today I got a letter from Sammy's school. She's a candidate to participate in ECLC "Buddy" program! It's basically being a good peer model for social, language and other appropriate skills for special education preschoolers.I mean, I AM a PROUD MAMA. I am excited for her, I know she will take a lot out of this experience. It will definitely benefit her. I am grateful for Sammy's kind heart and social skills. Watching her play with her friends make my heart melt, she is so kind and caring. She is definitely ready for a sibling... *wink*wink* :)

Day Twenty Four. February 5, 2012. Sunday.

Super Bowl 2012!!! I don't really care about the game but I thought Madonna really rocked the half time and this dude... I mean, WOW! We all thought it was Will Ferrell at first. He is funny looking but definitely talented. :)  Anyway, I am grateful we got to spend more time with our Small Group. Thank you Andrea and Joe for inviting us, we loved that we got to know more about you wonderful people. Love Love Love!
